She has been nominated for the prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her extensive contributions to numerous organizations and her unwavering commitment to service.
Brittany’s passion for empowering others started at a young age and is evident in her 12 years of service as a Girl Scout, where she dedicated herself to fostering leadership and growth among young women. She was awarded the Girl Scout Gold Award in 2012, the highest award given to individuals who use their skills to create lasting change within their community. As an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for over a decade, she has contributed to numerous initiatives that uplift communities. In 2024, Brittany was recognized as a Psi Epsilon Omega Chapter Greater Laurels honoree for being a trail blazer and an outstanding community servant.
In addition to her sorority involvement, Brittany has served as Chair, Vice Chair, and Executive Team Member of the University of Maryland Smith Alumni Board, dedicating over six years to supporting alumni engagement and professional development. She has also made significant contributions as a Board Member and Ascend Coach with Management Leadership for Tomorrow’s DC Chapter, dedicating over five years to advancing leadership opportunities for underrepresented professionals.
A natural leader within her faith community, Brittany serves as Team Lead for Union Church's Events Team and has hosted several groups, providing a space where people can have fun together, build community, and grow their faith. She is also the Co-Founder of MasTERPiece, a nonprofit preparing college students for careers in the retail industry. As Vice President of Imara Roose, Inc., a mentorship program, she has dedicated two years to guiding and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
Professionally, Brittany is an accomplished E-commerce and Digital Marketing Leader with over a decade of experience helping premium fashion, beauty, and CPG brands grow their online presence. Her entrepreneurial journey began as a freshman at the University of Maryland, where she launched a clothing brand that later garnered features in several fashion shows, including New York Fashion Week. Today, Brittany continues to share her expertise with a global audience through her YouTube Channel, offering valuable insights on digital marketing and e-commerce strategies for fashion and beauty entrepreneurs.
